🌅 Morning: Volcano Views & Lakeside Calm

Bulusan Volcano Natural Park & Lake Bulusan
Start early with a visit to Bulusan Volcano Natural Park, a protected rainforest at Mount Bulusan’s foot. Enjoy a serene kayak ride or lakeside walk on the emerald-green water, surrounded by lush forest scenery

Optionally explore Lake Aguingay, a seasonal crater lake nearby, great for bird‑watching and trekking

🏛️ Midday: Heritage & Local Flavor
Museo Sorsogon
Located in a restored colonial jail within the Provincial Capitol grounds, Museo Sorsogon offers up to ten galleries with artifacts relaying the province’s origins, struggles, and stories through the American occupation and revolution periods. Admission is highly affordable and often includes guide service.

Barcelona Church (Saint Joseph Parish)
A beautifully preserved Spanish-era church built in the 1870s, showcasing traditional stone architecture using egg‑white mortar and tuba in construction. Wander its grounds and ruins to get a sense of historical tranquility.

🌾 Afternoon: Scenic Lagoon & Pili Delicacies

Paguriran Island & Lagoon
Head to the Bacon District for a boat or sandbar walk to Paguriran Island. Swim or snorkel in its clear emerald waters, surrounded by limestone formations—with a breathtaking view of Mount Bulusan in the distance.

Pili Haven (optional stop)
If time permits, enrich your afternoon with a visit to this unique pili nut farm. Cross bamboo bridges, relax at a local restaurant, and pick up pili polvorĂłn or pastillas to take home.

🌄 Evening: Firefly Magic
Ogod River Firefly Watching or Buhatan River Cruise
End the day with sailing along a mangrove-lined river: either Ogod River in Donsol where fireflies light up the night, or Buhatan River near Sorsogon City that offers scenic boat cruises ending in a floating bamboo restaurant—ideal for sunset dining.

Dinner on the River
Feast on fresh seafood—mud crabs, oysters, tilapia, shrimps—served riverside or on a floating restaurant for a perfect taste of local cuisine with nature’s soundtrack.
